We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
The Model 60 is one of the most popular models of revolver in the market today. It is popular primarily for its light weight and ability to rapidly bring five rounds of .357 Magnum on target. The small size allows users to easily carry the firearm concealed for self-defense situations. The exposed hammer allows for the user to choose between single-action and double-action modes. It has an integral front sight and fixed rear sight. The grips are longer than those found on a 637 (and 642) to provide a pinky finger position on the grip, allowing the owner to have a better grip on the 60, and thusly, are more able to handle the recoil during firing. This allows for faster follow up shots which is very important in a self-defense situation. The frame of the 60 is made of stainless steel for durability and environmental resistance. There are many aftermarket accessories for S&W J-frame revolvers out there, especially conceal carry holsters. In addition, revolvers are easier to learn how to shoot and clean making for less maintenance than a semi-auto. In addition, the Model 60 will also shoot the 38 Special making for easy practice sessions. I recommend the use of 38 Special wadcutter ammo. It has very low recoil. This firearm would be very effective for self-defense and would be an excellent first choice for someone looking for a concealed carry gun.
