Description:
AH Fox Sterlingworth 20ga in very very nice original factory condition in all respects with great specifications.

This gun was made in the very early 30's shortly after the AH Fox works moved to Utica. Very nice example showing high degree of fit & finish.

This gun is virtually tight as new. Operates crisply. Top lever right of center.

Truly a perfect light birdgun or clays gun with plenty of collector appeal left.

Priced below market for immediate sale.  Really.

26" barrels choked IC & MOD.  Bores measure :
rt  622  12k choke   24k min wall
lf   621  21k choke   21k min wall
Bright unpitted bores, no dings, no dents.
Extractors.  Single metal front bead.
2 3/4" chambers

Original capped pistol grip & serrated buttplate on straight grained nicely checkered stock & forend.
Fantastic original dimensions of:
LOP 14 1/8     DAC  1 1/2       DAH 2 5/8

This gun has been gently used & retains high percentages of original Fox factory finish.
65-70% bright case colors.
90-95% deep original factory blue. with light handling marks. One spot of lite blue wear thinning on left barrel about 3" ahead of forend & some thinning at sides of breeches.
90-95% original Fox Duco varnish remains with loss mostly from light flaking. Top of heel exhibits the most flaking & slight wear. Sharp checkering. No cracks.  Great virtually untouched screws.

Just a really nice survivor. Like I said, priced to sell.
