Description:
Weatherby Athena D'Italia in 20 gauge. This Weatherby side by side shotgun was manufactured by Fausti in Italy from 2005 to 2011, and this shotgun features 26" chrome lined barrels, ejectors, 3" chambers, double triggers, tang safety, matted tapered solid rib with a brass bead front sight, 2 screw in choke tubes (mod. & full). The silver receiver, side plates and bottom are fully covered with light scroll engraving, the bottom of the trigger-guard has a gold "W" (Weatherby), a splinter forend with push button release, and the oil finished English straight grip stock has nicely figured walnut with extended basket-weave checkering (Weatherby called it Scottish checkering) and a black rubber pad. Weighs 6 1/4 Lbs. Includes it's Weatherby plastic take-down case and manual. The Weatherby Athena D'Italia MSRP in 2005 was $2,840 to $2,976 depending on gauge.
