Description:
An interesting variation of the #3 Deringer that is of standard configuration and normal blue/nickel finish, but with a serial number, 17568, stamped on the right side of the frame. It is also London proofed on the bottom of the barrel. Normally, these guns are numbered on the bottom of the barrel lug, on the left grip strap, and in pencil on the inside of the grips. This gun has no number on the bottom of the barrel lug, and a completely differrent number, 14514, on the grip strap and the left grip panel. It is in good working condition, with most of the original nickel on the frame, but only traces of blue on the barrel. The bore is good, and it retains bright blue on several of the screw heads.
