Mauser 1896 Broomhandle .30 Mauser caliber pistol. This is a wartime commercial model pistol with German Imperial Acceptance mark for military use. Action works perfectly. Bore is fair with fair to good rifling and corrosion in the grooves. Gun has good markings and has a pleasing overall patina color. Grips are modern replacements. When we removed the grips we found heavy pitting under the grips on the grips frame. No idea how that happened long ago, but the rest of the gun was not affected. We test fired the gun and it functioned perfectly. Reasonably priced.
