FOR SALE: SUPER CLEAN!! EARLY SMITH & WESSON ~ K-22 PRE-MODEL 18 COMBAT MASTERPIECE~ according to the Ser. # K 182xxx it was manufactured in 1947. It has a 4" pinned barrel, target square butt K frame, 5- Screw, Baughman ramp front sight, adjustable micrometer click rear sight, original blued finish , case hardened target trigger & hammer , target K frame walnut checkered diamond grips, 6-shot fluted cylinder, narrow serrated rib on barrel & six groove serrated grip backstrap. All serial numbers match (No serial # on grips) The condition is exceptional, especially since it is over 70 years old. It belonged to a recently deceased elderly gentleman, who probably bought it new. His weapons were all in pristine condition, very well taken care of. He collected S&W's & this was one of his cherished possesions. The gun has some very minor scratches, light cylinder ring, & very minor muzzle wear. Bore is excellent & shiny. No box or paperwork.
