Description:
This old Pre War Winchester Model 97 is a 12 Ga gun with an ORIGINAL 2.5 inch CHAMBER, mostly brown patina metal with some original blue on the magazine tube. Never refinished. Bore is excellent. Barrel is marked full and probably started life as a 30 inches but now measures 26 inches. Wood is all original with most finish worn and stock has a pad attached that is not properly fitted. Length of pull is 13 inches to the end of the wood - with a proper pad fitted would be 14 inches. Gun functions fine and appears to be totally original except for the ugly pad it has now. Would be a geat gun to turn into a Cowboy Action gun! And, priced right!
