This Colt 38 Special was produced in 1950. The pistol's serial number is 555844. It is fitted with a 5 inch barrel. It has the plastic " Bowling Ball " grips. The grips are colorful and show well. The pistol is in new condition and unfired. There is no blue loss or wear. The pistol still has some factory grease in the action. The original box is serial numbered to this pistol. The box is in very fine condition. The top of the box has a number 4 lightly marked in black ink. The end label is intact with some light loss on one end. This is a brand new Colt with it's original box that has survived in this condition for almost seventy years! These condition Colts are what collectors look for to add to their collections.
