Shooting Times magazine awarded the Winchester 70 the title "Gun of the Century" in 1999. Chambered in .308 Winchester, the most popular short action big game hunting caliber worldwide. This model 70 features a checkered wood stock and 20 inch barrel. Some oxidation can be seen on the barrel and receiver, but the rifling is strong and clean, ready for any hunt or range you take it to. Included in this package is a Swift 664M 4-12x40 scope, perfect for those long distance shots. A great all-around rifle, and a great addition to any collection.
