Fine Early 20th Century Curio & Relic
Here we present a Stevens A&T Co. Tip-Up Pistol, manufactured in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts circa 1903-1916. This pistol was manufactured right around the time that Stevens Arms & Tool Company was becoming the largest producer of sporting firearms in the world. By 1915, Stevens was a leader in the American arms business as a maker of target and small game hunting guns.
The top of the barrel is marked “J. STEVENS A&T CO./CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A.”
The overall condition is fine. The nickel finish is about 90% complete and the blue is about 60% complete. The markings are clear and legible. The bore is very good. The grips are in great shape. The action on this pistol is excellent. This will make a great little pistol for the collection and the range!
