U.S. Springfield 2nd Allin Conversion 1866 Trapdoor .50-70 caliber rifle. Great example of an 1866 Springfield rifle. Barrel retains its Army bright finish, bore is near mint condition. Lockplate is dated 1864 Breech block and cam latch retains original bluing. Stock is in perfect shape with visible cartouche. This is a beautiful rifle.
