Description:
This is a Jan/Feb. 1943 Inland with a 1-43 barrel. The rifle is in good condition with about 50 to 60 % original finish. The bore is in excellent condition. The markings are as follows: Stock, I cut high wood that has been sanded with IO and bomb in the sling well. No crossed cannon on the right side. The handguard is deep groove 2 rivet and IO marked. The butt plate is early checkered. The recoil plare is type 2 unmarked. The narrow front band has three welds and a narrow swivel that has some pitting. The op slide type two semi circle and PI marked. The front sight is N marked. The flat bolt is AI marked with Inland marked extractor and firing pin. The rear flip sight is unmarked except for a S on the left side. The type two Inland trigger housing has a checkered push button safety with a beveled edge. The type two dog leg hammer is HI marked.
