Description:
Winchester model 61 22 mag. It comes with a 24" round barrel, front and rear sights. This is the take down model. Action is smooth, locks up tight and functions great. Bore is strong with well defined riflings and lands. The butt stock and forearm are free from cracks or chips. A few compression marks and scratches from use and age. Bluing is good with a patina color starting to form on the barrel. Blueing wear is mostly edge wear and from the moving parts. Some minor piting on top of barrel. Winchester logo and barrel roll stamping are easily read. Serial number 301XXX puts manufacturing date of 1961. Make a great all around shooter and addition to your collection. These were manufactured for only two years (1960-61). Get yourself a piece of Winchester history and buy a magnum today.
