Early, rare Hawken special order rifle. Checkered stock, engraved with silver inlays. 36 inch octagon barrel, 1 3/16" width. Letter from John D. Baird, author of "The Hawken Book". Fine condition, one of the best of the few Hawkens known to exist. A great example of American frontier history.
