These wonderful little 550-1 rifles have an almost cult type following - this because with their 2 piece chamber they feed most any .22 including CB's, shorts, longs, long rifles, etc. interchangeably and without problems. The use of CB shells allow one to shoot in a populated area to dispatch troublesome rodents, squirrels, etc. without disturbing the anti gun neighbors. These are getting very hard to find for a good price.
