Here we present a U.S. Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 Rifle, manufactured circa 1919 at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. The M1903 is an American five-round magazine fed, bolt action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th Century.
