Offered for sale is one sealed and very early and rare Winchester 30 W.C.F. (Winchester Center Fire), 30-30 Box of cartridges loaded with 170 grain metal patched soft point bullets. Box dates back to the 1903-1905 time frame. This is a $400.00 sealed box of ammo except for the break through on the bottom of the box and the price has been adjusted accordingly. Winchester introduced the 30 W.C.F. (30-30) in1895 along with the 25-35 cartridge as the first smokeless powder loading for their new Winchester model 1894 rifle. Both early rifles and cartridges were marked 30 W.C.F., not 30-30. The pictures show the condition of the box much better than I can describe it.
