Description:
Original Winchester model 70 pre-64 3006 barrel, matching bolt and receiver. Stripped but ready for a custom build. Barrel has bluing loss, thinning and rubbed off in some spots. Probably from riding around in a truck gun rack. Bore is strong with well defined lands and grooves. Barrel has not been crowned. It is 24" long. Factory roll stamping is rough in spots and scratched. Winchester Trade Mark and logo are easily read. Receiver markings are good to very good. Bolt has matching numbers to the receiver. Bolt face is for any standard caliber. Threads are good to very good for scope bases, barrel, and receiver peep mount. Barrel can easily be removed and a barrel of your choice added to your long range or target custom rifle. Many Winchester model 70 pre-64 parts can be found on line and eBay. $35.00 flat rate shipping to lower 48.
