Browning Superposed 28 gauge O/U shotgun that was beautifully engraved, in a Midas Grade pattern, by former Browning factory engraver and recognized Master Engraver, Angelo Bee. This Midas engraving has three gold inlaid pheasants in flight on the left side of the receiver; three gold inlaid Mallards on the right side and a gold inlaid quail on the bottom. The inlays are surrounded by fine floral and scroll that matches the engraved top tang, trigger guard, forend iron, top lever and barrels. Built in a field configuration with long tang, round knob, single trigger and factory 26 ½ barrels choked IC/Mod and a hand filed vent rib. The metal finishes are all 98%+ with typical forend “slide” marks on the bottom barrel. Aside from one or two light handling marks the stock is perfect. LOP is 14 1/8” over the Browning buttplate; 1 7/16” DAC and 2” DAH with neutral cast. It weighs a mere 6 lbs. 6 oz. Made in 1960 Bonus features: A set of Briley Match Weight .410 bore sub-gauge tube with 5 choke tube and a Browning luggage case that accomdates the Midas and the tubes (two barrel case)
