Winchester 1890 .22 Short caliber rifle. This is a third model manufactured in 1914. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Barrel address is excellent. Barrel proofs look too light as does the frame proof. This is a really good looking 1890 but is a top notch refinish in our opinion. Edges are sharp, no flaws in the metal. Looks great. The buttstock has wood stains at the buttplate and the buttstock varnish is really good but the varnish is over the stains, so it is refurbished. If you want a super good looking 1890 that won’t cost you $3000.00. This is it. Looks great and you can shoot it without having to worry about scratching a $3000.00 gun. Priced reasonably at $1095.00
