Description:
A proper, handsome Super Grade Model 70 from 1952. Matching bolt serial number. Weaver K4 scope, mounted on a Redfield base, has fine cross hairs, clear optics and nice original finish. (Rifle can easily be put back to basic/original configuration, by removing the scope and installing the INCLUDED original rear sight) 24" barrel has crisp, shiny bore and chamber, and the bolt face still has blueing on it, showing its been fired only a few times.Original metal finish thinning at the muzzle, bolt knob and buttplate. There are minor pressure marks and scuffs in the wood finish, but no red flags. Front ramp retains original Super Grade "gold" sight and hood.
