WHITNEY-BEALS RING TRIGGER WALKING BEAM .31 CAL. PERCUSSION POCKET REVOLVER. 6 shot with 4” octagon barrel. Top strap stamped “ADDRESS E. WHITNEY/WHITNEYVILLE, CT.” and frame stamped “BEAL’S PATENT/SEPT. 1856”. All original and matching with approximately 30” blue finish mixed with brown patina. Faint acid etched cylinder scene. Nice crisp metal and good markings. Burl walnut grips in fine condition. Excellent bore and chambers but not in working order. Ring trigger and cylinder rotation work well but hammer spring is missing and hammer does not release from full cock. Small frame screw missing. About same size as a an 1849 pocket trigger guard screw and easily replaced. Very scarce revolver needing repair.
