Description: Setting new standards in precision shooting since its inception in 1958, the Weatherby Mark V is a superior long range hunting rifle that has been in use for decades. Chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, it is the most popular of all Weatherby cartridges. C.J. McElroy, the founder of Safari Club International, used a Mark V chambered in 300 Wby. Mag. for everything he hunted all over the globe. Elgin Gates, another famous international hunter, was also fond of the Mark V in this same caliber. For a jack of all trades, and a master of all hunts, this gun needs to be by your side on your next adventure. The stock is a Monte Carlo checkered walnut, with rosewood tip and grip caps. This rifle's wood is in excellent shape with the exception of very few marks in the stock: one small mark near the receiver, and one on each side near the rear of the stock. The barrel and receiver are in excellent condition and have a high luster finish. This Mark V Deluxe is a welcome addition to any collection.
