Description:
Cooper Firearms began almost 30 years ago with the objective to create custom quality, accurate firearms at affordable prices. In 1995, they introduced the model 40; a 3-mid locking lug 4-shot repeater designed with a craftsman's handiwork and a rifleman's eye. This 40 has an elegant checkered walnut stock that has a deep, marbled appearance, and a high luster, 24 inch barrel. The wood is in excellent condition, with a few almost unnoticeable marks: one on the right rear of the stock, a blemish on the left rear, and a mark near the front sling swivel. The barrel and receiver are like new and have a high luster finish. The Leupold Vari-X III is crystal clear, but has a mark on the outer rim. Cooper Arms hit the nail on the head in terms of "shooting as good as it looks" with this model 40.
