Up for sale is an above average Winchester M1897 (Solid Frame) 12 Ga. 30" Full choke
w/brass bead front sight. The Serial # 71xxx puts the manufacture date at 1899 or 1900,
The bore is bright and shiney and the action is nice and tight. The forend has been replaced
and sometime in its long history a small wood dowel has been installed just behind the receiver.
