Very Rare Savage 99 EG, 24" Barrel in 308 Win. Caliber.Produced from 1955to1956 before they switched to manufacturer the 99 DL.The only other calibers produced during this run were the 243 Win., and the 358 Win. The finish on this Rifle is 99.5%, the color case is 99.5 % .I purchased this rifle in 1980 from a Rancher in Cody Wyoming who never hunted with it! I added the William Bridge Mount and Weaver K 3-1 Scope, Test fired it to Zero the Scope but never hunted with it!
