Description:
Excellent original Colt "Open Top" 7-shot revolver in standard configuration. This 1875 vintage "Open Top" is fitted with a 2 3/8 inch barrel, smooth varnished Walnut grips, blue finished barrel, cylinder and small parts, and silver plated brass frame. The barrel and cylinder retain 85% of their original blue, mostly thinning overall, and the frame retains 20% of its original silver plate. The grips retain most of their original finish, fit well, and have no chips or cracks. The bore is rough, has visible rifling and is in shootable condition.
