19th Century European Hunting Shotgun
Here we present an antique Joseph Manton Side by Side Shotgun, manufactured in Liege, Belgium circa the late-19th Century. This would have been a light and handy shotgun for harvesting fowl and furbearers.
The locks are marked “JOSEPH MANTON LONDON”.
The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The markings are clear and legible. The bores are dark. The stocks are in great shape. The action on this shotgun is excellent.
