Description:
A very nice pre war Savage Model 23D Bolt Action Rifle in caliber .22 Hornet, complete with an early target scope mounted on target blocks. The blued metal parts on this rifle have been professionally reblued to new condition, a superb job, and the original scope, in addition to the adjustable mounts which were pitted, has been cerakoted. Lenses are good but a bit dull. Bore and chamber are excellent and rifle has the original magazine. Wood shows some very minor handling marks - otherwise excellent! A wonderful little rifle from yesteryear!
