Description:
Offered for sale is one full box of .32-40 Winchester Cartridges with 165 grain soft point BOAT TAIL bullets. This very desirable bullseye target box was introduced in 1927 and ran for more than 30 years, probably the longest running of any box style. This is an early issue box with the Western Cartridge Company print out on the back label, ca 1930's. In 1944, Western merged with Olin and in 1954 merged with Olin Mathieson and the rear panels are so marked. I have seen later boxes without the BOAT TAIL bullet designation. This is a very colorful and desirable box which will display well with any collection. The pictures show the condition of the box and ammo much better than I can describe them.
