It has not been altered since leaving the factory with its 28" vent rib barrel retaining mirror bore, Modified choke, 100% factory blue on barrel, receiver, and trigger guard. 14 1/4" LOP to the factory butt plate, clear sharp engraving, still has the friction ring and instructions inside the forend wood, no splits, cracks, or repairs anywhere, perfect screws, just the way you like to find them. It has not been shot and there is no “primer shadow” on the bolt face. The square knob stock with long tang trigger guard is highly desirable and 28" vent rib barrel scores high in the desirability department as well. These are investment quality guns, especially in this kind of condition, and this gun is being offered at a very attractive price. Sure to increase in value as you enjoy its use, this is one of the great Belgium Brownings, not a Japanese made gun. There will never be an A-5 produced the way these earlier guns were made in Belgium. There was too much hand-finishing in the hey-day of the A-5 that just cannot be afforded in the manufacturing world of today. Don’t let this one get away. Thanks for looking!
