Description:
This “CONSECUTIVE” 3 Gun set of Custom Colt SAA’s were shipped to Southern Ohio Gun Distributers in 1988.
OHGD special ordered 200 Colt SAA’s with unfluted cylinders, checkerd wood grips and barrel lengths of 4, 5 1/2 and 6 inch barrels. Factory letter, ordered, states the break down of each barrel length. Of the 200 guns shipped there were 12 3 gun sets. The remaining guns with the 3 barrel lengths mentioned were sold individually. I believe there were between 50-60 of each barrel length. All this information will be on the letter. A very limited run none the less.
There is no room for improvement on this set. All 3 guns are unfired, unturned and come in their original boxes, that are numbered to the gun, with all the original paperwork. The boxes are good condition with light storage wear as shown and they are fully intact.
The fit and finish on these guns is amazing. The unfluted barrels are very attractive and the checkered wood grips are custom fit, flawless and give these Colt’s a very special look. Please keep in mind that it is very difficult to photograph Case Colors.
