1966 vintage Colt Detective Special (2nd Issue) fitted with a 2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. The 6-shot revolver is in excellent condition, retaining 95-96% of its original blue finish, with most thinning aat the muzzle of the barrel, and high edges of the cylinder. The grips fit well and are in excellent condition, with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. The bore is bright and the action functions like new, with perfect timing and a tight lock-up. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box, which is in good condition, with repaired corners and lots of handling issues. Sorry, no paper-work. A nice example of its type.
