Founded over a decade ago and still going strong, Browning has always been well known for their innovative designs and quality. This Japanese-made Browning 78 is chambered in .30-06, a widely popular caliber ever since its adoption by the U.S. Army in 1906, and remains one of the best "do anything" hunting cartridges available today. This model 78 is in great shape with a few imperfections in the stock and forend: there are a few notches of checkering out of the stock, a 1 inch mark on the left side, and a few marks on both sides of the forend, and a tiny nick on the right side of the stock. The metal of the gun is in excellent condition, with a small mark near the barrel tip. It's a pretty gun and can function just as well in a display case at home or on the hunt for just about any mid-sized game.
