Description:
Colt Police Positive Special (First Issue) manufactured in 1923. Introduced in 1907 and produced till 1927, the Police Positve Special featured a square butt, and longer frame and cylinder to accommodate the 38 special and 32-20 cartridges. Factory hard rubber grips, smooth top strap and 6" barrel. Chambered in 32-20 W.C.F. with fixed sights. This revolver retains approximately 90+% of its original blue finish, with the majority of the finish loss on the cylinder. Only honest wear with light freckling and handling marks throughout and no major dings or blemishes. Grips are in excellent condition. Action is in time and locks up tight. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling and very minor corrosion in a few spots. Overall, a clean, honest example of it's type.
