We have quite possibly one of the nicest Ruger Mark 1 Target pistols you will ever see. It comes complete with the original outer shipping carton and the red factory box serial numbered to the pistol. This Mark 1 Target was made sometime between 1979 and 1982 as it is one of the first with the rollmarked warning stamped on the barrel. This example has the 6 & 7/8ths inch heavy tapered barrel with adjustable target sights and checkered Walnut grips with a right-handed thumb shelf. The right grip panel has a black and silver Ruger medallion inset into it. The factory blue finish is nearly like the day it left the factory rating 99%, with the only deductions being a tiny little storage nick on the bottom of the barrel and a tiny bit of marring around the take-down latch. Neither of these diminish the beautiful and clean overall appearance of this Mark 1 Target. This Ruger is potentially unfired since being test fired at the factory and appears to have spent it's entire life in storage. The insides are just as clean as the exterior and the bore is in mint condition with no imperfections. The original factory grips are in excellent condition and show neither wear or soiling. They are free from any cracks, chips. or repairs. This is a real beauty of a Mark 1 Target model and whether you collect Rugers or just guns in general, this pistol would be an excellent addition to your collection. It would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this one...
