This is the Alpha rifle of all time. If any rifle defines the 19th century, this is it. Only a limited number will ever be made. This remarkable rifle starts with a custom grade V/VI walnut straight grip stock with a satin oil finish that’s velvet smooth to the touch. It features a classic rifle-style forearm with engraved forearm cap for the legendary look and feel of the original Model 1866. One of the crowning embellishments is the custom 150th Anniversary engraving on the polished brass receiver, lifter, lever, butt plate and forearm cap - all done in the classic Ulrich style, including the Winchester Horse and Rider and the WRA scroll trademark.
This rifle is absolutely brand new in box. It is flawless. It has only been out of the box to take the hi-res pictures in this ad. You will note the exceptionally fine wood on this piece. You should use these pictures as your best judge as to condition.
