L .C.SMITH 1910, 3 E -20 ga. S/S Shotgun 1 of 143 - 25 with 26" were fluid steel barrels -6-with same scene on both lock plates 
A Fine Vintage American made double barrel shotgun. The pre 1913 L.C.SMITH shotguns come with very hilgh regard, with beautifully sculpted frames, extreme attention to detail, fine executed game scene and scroll engraving. The only successful American Sidelock from the Golden Era of gun making. The Pre 1913 L.C.SMITHS  (the shotguns w number grades like 2E,3E,5E, vs named models like Ideal, grade Speciality grade etc) were better fit and finely finished than the guns that came after 1912. THIS RARE GRADE 3 E 20 ga. was well cared for with,sharp engraving,superb wood to metal fit, strong checkering. Nice screws, ( , the beaver tail forearm has chip ) This guns mechanics are perfect. Having all the desired characteristics, High condition,Low production,Ejectors, English stock,26" fluid steel barrels,Single select trigger, same engraving on side plates. Comes with L.C SMITH COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION LETTER OF AUTHENICATION, NO.2034-17,
