Payment Types Accepted: check or money order Description: Offered is an authentic 1860 Colt (man. 1861) in fair-good condition. It has ALL matching numbers, including the wedge. This cylinder was one that had the number on the inside edges of the cylinder. It is faintly there but you can see 4 0 1 3 around the edges. This has the more rare 7 1/2" barrel. New York asddress. It nereds a better loading lever (this one not original to the gun, but a lot of these colts don't have their original lever), and it needs the lever stop on the underside of the barrel. It has a decent bore. It hasn't functioned for a while, as evidenced by the cylinder being free of drag marks. It needs work, but I believe it is complete. It appears to have original grips. I bought this years ago, with a few other pistols, from an old gentleman who resided in New Hampshire. This Colt did letter as going in a shipment in April, 1861 to a P S Newton in Hartford, Conn. These fluted colts are scarace and you don't have to break the bank for this one. I've seen these fluted coltd go in access of $5000 with the ones going North. The letter cost me $300, and will accompany the gun to it's new buyer. Don't miss!
