Description:
Colt New Service Double Action .44-40 Revolver with Pearl Grips, .44-40 cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, mother of pearl grips. Manufactured in 1911. Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard markings, smooth trigger, checkered hammer, smooth mother of pearl grips, and lanyard loop butt. CONDITION: Very fine, 90% plus original finish remains with some edge wear, areas of light surface rust, cylinder drag line, and handling marks overall. The replacement pearl grips are very fine with some areas of light discoloration. Mechanically excellent.
