Description:
Winchester model 1892 .25-20 half octagon round barrel. The rifle was sent back to Winchester and the barrel and magazine tube have been replaced, it shows the two Winchester proof marks. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The receiver has turned a nice patina with some light freckling on the rear tangs both top and bottom, some dings on the receiver, along with some screws show some damage from being removed at one time. The stock and fore end have both been sanded and re-lacquered you can see a crack in the fore end.
