Description:
Known as the "rifleman's rifle," the model 70 has been popular throughout history with hunters, and has also seen use from law enforcement and military snipers. Shooting Times magazine awarded the Winchester 70 the title "Gun of the Century" in 1999. This model 70 is chambered in .243 Winchester, a caliber well-liked by target shooters and varmint/deer hunters alike. 243 Winchester is a caliber that has great accuracy with relatively low recoil. This model 70 features a rich walnut stock and 24 inch matte stainless barrel. There are some light marks on the top of the barrel, but they are hard to notice. This model is equipped with rails ready to mount an optic. A great all-around rifle, and a great addition to any collection.
