Winchester Model 21 Duck Grade Double Barrel Shotgun with Factory Letter- 12 gage, 32-inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The included factory letter confirms the serial number, grade, barrel length, and other pertinent features and gives a final inspection date of October 30, 1951. Single bead sight on the matter concave rib, 3-inch chambers, selective ejectors, and full/full chokes. Left barrel is marked "WINCHESTER-12GAGE/3 IN. CHAM." Standard markings and Winchester proofs are on the flats The water table is marked with the three-line model and address marking on the left and a Winchester "WP" proof on the right. Single trigger with selector and tang mounted automatic thumb safety. Checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with Winchester recoil pad. Barrel and stock and stock measurements are .733/.729 inch; minimum wall thickness .033/.035 inch; drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/8 inches.CONDITION: Fine 85% original blue finish remains with cold blue touch up near muzzles, some light edge wear, surface scratches, and traces of light spotting. The receiver retains 80%b original blue fading to brown on the tang. The revarnished wood is fine with a 1/4 inch hairline crack on the left rear of the forearm, numerous dings and scratches, come chopping varnish and holes drilled in the recoil pad sides. Mechanically excellent.
