This is the nicest 1917 Winichester I have ever seen. It has retained about 97-98% of the original finish. The only loss is from some very minor sharp edge silvering, and some slight rub marks on the bolt.
The rest of the gun is pristine The bolt has the correct W stamp on the bottom, of the bolt handle and the Ordinance Bomb on the top. The barrel is stamped J A with the proper Ordinance Bomb.
The stock is stamped with a "W" The condition of the stock is also outstanding. Not a ding, chip or split anywhere. The barrel is pristine like the rest of the gun. The bore is mirror bright and sharper than a "Mother in Law's Tongue". It comes with one correct militarysling. Owning and shooting this Winchester will bring great joy,
