Schmidt-Rubin model 1896 built in 1898, refitted in 1911, Chambered for 7.5 X 55 Swiss cartridge. all very good, wood good, Bore clean with good rifling, all serial numbers match, all markings clear, finish all original. Over all in fine working condition. This rifle is NOT considered an "antique" by ATF deffinition, even though it is old enough, it shoots centerfire cartridges which are readilly availible not to mention still in use by the Swiss Military.
