Merwin & Hulbert .44-40 Caliber 4th Model revolver. Bore is good plus with very strong rifling. Action works perfectly. Gun has old pearl grips with some chips at the heel and bottom butt. Gun has some traces of original nickel. Overall it shows wear commensurate with regular use by its owner. Colorful old west revolver. Merwin & Hulbert guns were one of Colt’s competitors in the western market.
