Description:
SOLD **2nd NEW LOWER PRICE** Ithaca flues side-by-side shotgun field grade 12 gauge fully restored. The gun was manufactured in 1919. The serial is 32369. The barrels are 28 inches long with the right barrel choked IC and the left barrel choked Mod with 2 ¾ inch Chambers. The barrels are marked smokeless powder steel. The bores are bright and shiny. The barrels, trigger guard, and forend iron have been slow rust blued to match the color as the gun originally left the factory. yes it The stock and the forearm were stripped of the old finish and de-oiled. Both were hand sanded with the checkering covered. Wood was sealed by hand rubbing with 2 coats of permalyn stock sealer. All the wood was then finished with 7 coats of hand rubbed permalyn gun stock finish. This stock and forearm after you have them re-checkered, will be as factory new. The receiver was completely taken apart, all the parts were hand polished and reassembled. Length of pull is 14 inches from the first trigger. After you have the receiver case colored it will be as factory new. There are two blemishes on the gun. The toe of the stock was cracked and replaced with new walnut and attached with brass pins and epoxy. There is a small dent in the right barrel approximately 7 inches from the muzzle. The dent does not show from the inside of the barrel. Per the Ithaca serial number records, the Ithaca Flues model double and single guns with serial numbers between 31540 – 343335 were manufactured in 1920. This is a great gun for a new side-by-side collector or a great shooter for an Ithaca fan. All my items are shipped fed ex ground and insured. Add 3% for paypal payment. OR BEST OFFER
