Estate found fresh, scarce gun to find, the gun is .54 cal., overall nice patina, some pitting towards the end of the barrel, this gun has steel and not brass hardware, there is some marks to the wood on the underside of the stock, there is also a wood repair as well (looks like a piece broke off below the lock plate and was glued back on), this is a model 1836 that is dated 1841, complete with three cartouche marks on the gun stock left hand side, the bore has slight rust & pitting (nothing major), to us the gun looks to be all original, overall length is 14", the action works fine at half cock and full.
