Made in 1939, this first production year Model 24 is a beauty! Butt stock and semi beavertail fore end still retain most of their factory original finish, with just a few small handling marks but no cracks or chips. Original hard rubber butt plate is also in fine shape, with no cracks or chips. Both bores are bright and shiny their entire length, and the barrels and receiver still retain almost all of their rich factory blue finish, with just a bit of thinning at the muzzle and a few tiny handling marks on the bottom of the trigger guard and receiver. Gun locks up tight and functions perfectly. A great, honest condition classic side by side!
