.45-100, #14153, 30 inch heavy barrel (12 pound total weight), blue and case color finish, walnut stock and forearm, tang rear sight and globe front sight, double set trigger, wiping rod appears original, "J. M. Marlin, New Haven, Conn.USA/Ballards, Patent, Nov 5, 1861" on left side of receiver, circa 1880's
Condition: sharp bright bore, 99% barrel blue, 90% case color on receiver, hammer and lever mellowing, excellent wood has layer of finish applied and use dings, excellent marks, excellent mechanically.
